What you get when you return a violin
[07/05/2008 12:16 pm]

A New York cab driver who returned a violin left in his cab is having a concert especially for him at his cab stand. The owner of the $4million violin is holding a concert in honour of the cabbie.

One would think that if something is worth $4 million, you would keep a good grip on it.

Culling starts on the Australian Brumby.
[07/05/2008 12:10 pm]

Wild horses will be culled in Carnarvon Gorge.

About 4000 were killed this time last year.

As the brumby's have bred up again, more will have to be culled.

The brumby’s are damaging the flora and fauna of the Gorge.

Culling will be done by sharpshooters from helicopters.

   Cairns sea aglow

The sea near Cairns is now glowing at night. There is a chemical reaction happening with the plankton, and the sea is bright red and blue. Amazing!

   Will they never learn?

P platers, one does wonder if they are using the brains god gave them. There are two in Sydney who decided that yesterday was the day to do some racing, problem was they raced past a police car. They were both pulled over and arrested. The cars are gone, gone gone! Confiscated by the police and they have been charged with street racing, negligent driving and speeding, 45k over the speed limit. Oh well, they will be a lot fitter now, they will be walking.
